A day in our nursery

Give your child the comfort of routine, balanced with freedom to explore, play, and grow. Here’s what a typical day at our nursery looks like, from morning drop-off to afternoon pick-up.

Drop-off and morning welcome

We start each day with a calm, friendly welcome. A familiar staff member greets each child, giving parents a chance to share any updates.

Children who haven’t eaten yet are invited to join us for a healthy breakfast in a relaxed, social setting. After breakfast, children begin exploring their favourite activities, and the day formally begins with a welcoming circle time, including songs, stories, and conversations that help children feel connected and ready to start their day.

Indoor play and exploration

Our indoor spaces are calm, engaging, and filled with opportunities for hands-on learning. Inspired by the Curiosity Approach, we offer:

🧼

Sensory and messy play

🎨

Arts & crafts, baking, and woodwork

🧰

Open-ended materials and real-life objects

🧙

Small-world areas for role-play and storytelling

Outdoor play and nature time

Fresh air and movement are part of every child’s day. We also plan community outings to help children connect with the world around them, always with full supervision and safety checks. Our outdoor area includes:

🪣

Mud kitchen, sand & water play

🌱

Gardening and nature-based exploration

🚲

Bikes, scooters, and space for gross motor play

🧠

Open-ended materials for creativity and problem-solving

Mealtimes

Mealtimes are happy, social moments where children eat together, share stories, and develop independence. Children are encouraged to serve themselves, building confidence and good eating habits. We provide:

🍽️

Breakfast, snacks, lunch, and a light afternoon meal

🍳

Freshly prepared food by our on-site chef

🍎

Plenty of fruits, vegetables, and access to water throughout the day

Sleep and rest time

After lunch, children who need rest enjoy a peaceful nap time in a cosy area with soft music and their favourite comfort items.

Children who do not nap are offered quiet, calming activities to ensure they feel relaxed while others rest.

Pick-up and home time

At the end of the day, we’ll share how your child’s day went—what they enjoyed, any milestones, and memorable moments.
This is also a great time to chat, ask questions, or share updates.

We believe in open communication, and our team is always available to support your family.
